Harajuku Street Fashion

A while ago, I saw a very interesting cloth design and got inspired to to do something similar but with own personal touch.
I worked in Marvelous Designer for quite some time now and felt ready to create a complete outfit.
I started collecting a variety of reference footage, but ended up using my own ideas more or less.
The first thing I did was designing the basic shape of the sweater and got more and more into details after that.
At some point, it really felt like it is coming together nicely and I decided to present it as a fully dynamic game-ready realtime asset.
Furthermore, I highly anticipated the early release of Unreal 5 and was really excited to see my artwork together with the new lighting system and graphic fidelity of Lumen.
In the end, I'm really happy about how it turned out and I learned many cool new workflows, that will save me a lot of time and allow me to do more high quality artworks in the future.

For most of the assets, I used Marvelous Designer, obviously.
Smaller details and cleanup were done in 3ds Max.
I used Substance Painter for baking and texturing.
Realtime capture and beautyshots were done in Unreal Engine 5.
